There is a possibility that electricity would be available in
our land. If it is, that solves one problem, though getting the
electric lines to the house would be a difficult question
altogether. Weather could be a problem, and laying underground
lines would take care of the occasional branch falling on the
power lines.
As a backup, we are planning a couple of kerosene-powered
electricity generators for each of the houses. Adequate kerosene
has to be stocked. Another option would be solar powered lamps,
though we are not aware of the pricing for such right now. A
stream would help here, as then perhaps, we can construct a mini
water powered power plant to supply power to the entire area.
