An incredible experience awaits those who visit the Kadavu ayurveda resort in Kozhikode, Kerala 





Star comforts and down to earth ambience. If this is your idea of a vacation in God’s Own Country, Kadavu resort in Kozhikode, also known as Calicut, is the place to be in. This resort in north Kerala offers you a unique blend of Moppilah (Muslim) and Hindu culture.

Kadavu is located in the National Highway Bye-pass road at Azhinjillam. Calicut is well connected to all major towns and cities in India by road, rail and air.

The Kozhikode airport is just 12 kilometres from the resort. The nearest railway station is Feroke, which is hardly four kilometers away.

The Kadavu Ayurveda Centre has been awarded the Green Leaf classification by the Tourism Department of Kerala for its quality Ayurvedic services. The expertise is provided by the famous Vaidyaratnam Oushadhashala.

The Abhayangangam (relaxation) therapy in Kadavu for 45 minutes would cost you Rupees 1000. It would last 45 minutes.
The punarnava (Refreshing Therapy) would cost Rs 1250 and would last an hour.

Mukhalepam or Ayurvedic face pack would be charged Rs 400 for a duration of about half-an-hour. The Shiro Abhyangam or Ayurvedic head massage, which again would take half-an-hour, is charged Rs 500.

The Dinacharya or Ayurvedic day care would cost Rs 2,500 per day, including accommodation and meals.

Apart from these, Kadavu also offers lifes-tyle, curative, anti-obesity, and antis-stress programmes tailor-made for tourists.

A 7-day rejuvenative and health care therapeutic package would cost Rs 5100 for single occupancy, Rs 6,700 for double occupancy, till 31, May 2005 as per festival package. 

For a 14-day package, it would be Rs 4,700 and Rs 6,300 for single and double occupancy respectively and for 21-days the charges are Rs 4,200 for single and Rs 5,800 for double occupancy.

From June 1 2005 to Spetember 30, 2005, the monsoon magic rates would apply. Single occupancy for a 7-day period would cost Rs 4,000 and double Rs 5,600 for a 7-day programme.

For 14-days the rates are Rs 3,800 and Rs 5,100. The 21-day programme would cost you Rs 3,600 and Rs 4,700.

The rates are inclusive of AC rooms, consultation charges , teartment charges and taxes. No additional charge would be levied for the bystander with the person undergoing treatment.

The Special Holiday Package for Non Resident Indians for three days and two nights costs you AED 599, which includes complimentary pickup and drop to Kozhikode Airport, welcome drink, fruit platter in room and complimentary breakfast. 

Free accommodation would be provided for 2 children. For extra child or adult AED 100 would be charged additionally.

A 25% reduction would be available for boating, ayurveda treatments and site seeing tours. Use of Health club,swimming pool would be free. Check in time is and check out time is Indian Standard Time (5 ˝ hours ahead of GMT).

Celebrate 60 is a package for senior citizens (Above 60 year old). This will be available till May 31, 2005. The 3-day 2-night package is charged Rs 8,888, inclusive of taxes. It would also have bed tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner. A 50% cut in Ayurveda facilities and Ayurveda checkup is done for free. Senior citizens should submit proof of age to avail the package.

The Rainbow Package is basically meant for a family, with pick up and drop facility from airport, welcome drink, boat cruise etc. The package includes accommodation for two children below the age of ten and the rates are inclusive of accommodation, lunch, breakfast and dinner. If an extra person wants to share the room, Rs 1,499 would be charged for extra bed and meals.

The 3-day two-night package is charged Rs 15,555 for a couple in a cottage, Rs 14,444 in suites, Rs 13,333 in Superior River view room, Rs 12,222 in Deluxe river view room and Rs 11,111 in Garden view room. The package ends May 31.

The Weekend Getaway package is meant only for couples and families, with a 2 days-1 night package costing Rs 4,999. There is a 30 per cent discount on bar service. A 30-minute boat cruise and use of recreational facilities in the resort comes for free. The package extension depends on room availability. This package also ends on May 31.

The attraction of the Family Fun Water cruise package is the night in a house boat for a couple. It is a 4-days three-nights package, costing Rs 19,999 for cottages, 18,888 for suites , Rs 17,777 for Superior Riverview Rooms, Rs 16,666 for Delux riverview rooms and Rs 15,555 for Gardenview rooms, with free accommodation for 2 kids below 10 years. For an additional kid below 10 years, Rs 1,200 would be charged for 3 nights without any extra bed. For adults , this is Rs 2,250 with an extra bed. Package ends on May 31.

The Magical Summer 2005 package is a 2 nights 3-day package of Rs 8,888 for a couple or two persons in Garden view rooms. Visitors have the option to upgrade rooms. For additional person above 10 years, Rs 1190 will be charged and for below 10 years Rs 990 is charged. An extra 30 % is levied for room service charges. This too ends in May.

The Monsoon Surprise package starts from June 1 and ends on 30th September. The package is for a couple and two children. For extra person, Rs 1,899 inclusive of bed and meals. Boat cruise, welcome drink and pickup and drop facilities are available.

The occupancy rates in the resort is dived into two seasons. The Mappilapura or cottage accommodation only would cost Rs 6,000 for two persons till May 31. From June to September the rate is Rs 4,000. For accommodation including bed tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, dinner and taxes the rate is Rs 8,000 till May 31 and Rs 5,600 from June to September.

For Malabar suite the rate is Rs 5,700 for accommodation alone till May 31 and for all inclusive one it is Rs 7,700. The rate from June to September for accommodation alone is Rs 3,800 and for the other package it is Rs 5.500.

For Superior River View room, the cost of accommodation alone till May 31 is Rs 4,500 and the all inclusive package costs 6,400. From June to September accommodation alone would cost Rs 3,000 and the all inclusive package is Rs 4,700.

The deluxe river view room would cost Rs 4,00 for accommodation alone and all inclusive package is Rs 5,800 till May 31. From June to September accommodation alone is 2,600 and all inclusive package is 4,200.

The Garden view room is Rs 3,500 for accommodation alone, while the all-inclusive package costs Rs 5,200 till May. From June to September accommodation alone would costs Rs 2,200 and the all inclusive package is Rs 3,800. 

The abovementioned rates are for a single night check in is 2.00 pm IST and checkout is 11.00 am.
