ZiiLABS’ Zii TRINITY concept phone, development platform unveiled
ZiiLABS, wholly-owned subsidiary of Creative Technology, has unveiled the Zii TRINITY concept smartphone and development platform, what it refers to as a 3.5G/4G smartphone platform.The company said that the Zii TRINITY development platform supports Optimised Android and native Linux-based Plaszma operating systems.
The concept smartphone has a 3.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display screen with a resolution of 480×800.
The Zii TRINITY concept phone has a 5-megapixel rear facing, auto-focus camera and a VGA forward-facing camera for video conferencing.
The concept phone is powered by ZMS-05 and ZMS-08 media-rich applications processors and the OpenGL ES 3D graphics accelerator.
The Zii TRINTIY works on quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band WCDMA, HSDPA.
Connectivity features include integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth EDR, USB port, and GPS.
There is mini HDMI port allows the phone to connect to an external monitor with 1080p resolution. The Zii TRINITY concept phone comes with 256MB built-in memory expandable via MicroSD card slot.
