Windows Phone 7 based HTC HD7 available on discount price of Rs. 26,925 from LetsBuy

HTC’s Windows Phone 7 device, called HTC HD7, that went on sale in India last December for Rs. 33,490 is up for grabs at LetsBuy.

Online retailer LetsBuy is offering HTC HD7 at a discount price of Rs. 26,925.

HD7 is rather similar to HTC HD2 that was launched in India late last year. But HD7 comes with Windows Phone 7 OS instead of Windows Mobile 6.5 that HD2 had. The new HTC phone comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera with dual LED flash. It is capable of 720p HD video recording. Related: HTC Incredible S phone in India

It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8250 chipset and gives you 576MB of RAM. The phone supports GPS and Wi-Fi connections. The HD7 also features a kick stand at the back for watching videos. This feature was not present in HTC HD2.

What makes watching videos and movies on HTC HD7 more fun is the fact that the phone is equipped with SRS WOW HD technology that brings virtual surround sound to your mobile.

HTC HD7 also boasta of a Notes app which lets you post and arrange your notes on a bulletin board, then see them wrinkle and age over time. To view them in a list, all you need to do is swipe and turn the board over.

The HD7 is one of the three Windows Phone 7 devices available from HTC. As we reported earlier, the other two are Mozart and HTC 7 Trophy.

The Mozart has a 3.7-inch display and an 8-megapixel camera with xenon flash, while the Trophy offers you a 5-megapixel camera. Mozart is the cheapest HTC WP7 phone till date.
