LCD monitor and TV manufacturer ViewSonic plans to launch its All-In-One PC, the VPC 100, in India, in July 2009.

The price details of the ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC, in India, have not been revealed as yet by the company. The ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC will be available for £500, in the UK.

The ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC is just 3.5 cms thick, has a 19-inch 16:9 LCD screen, a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1 GB of RAM and a 160GB hard disk.

The LCD screen has a decent resolution of 1366 x 768.

Other specifications of the ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC include a 4-in-1 card reader, 4 USB 2.0 ports, webcam, DVD writer, 3-watt integrated speakers, and preloaded Windows XP.

The ViewSonic VPC100 All-In-One PC package includes a power cord, power adapter, keyboard, mouse, Driver CD, Quick Start Guide, and ViewSonic Wizard CD.

It comes with a 1-year limited warranty on parts, labor and backlight.

ViewSonic has said that it is upbeat about the Indian market and will unveil its new concept-driven product lines in 2009.

After the launch of the VPC100 All-In-One PC, ViewSonic will launch other next-generation PCs in India.

Gautam Ghosh, country manager, ViewSonic Technologies India Pvt Ltd, said, “ViewSonic All-in-One PC VPC100 specifically suits the Indian environment of operation and offers unique solution catering to the growing demand of space and energy conservation as well as mobility.”

To promote its All-in-One-PC line-up, ViewSonic had organised Road Shows in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, in March 2009.

“We are excited with the response ViewSonic has received from the channel fraternity during its recent road show and believe that this stylish yet performance driven product line will appeal to both the youth and enterprise segment,” Gautam Ghosh said.
