Tata Teleservices has revised its data card plans to retain existing customers and attract new customer. It has reduced prices of both its Tata Photon Plus and Tata Photon Whiz data services making it available for INR 1,799 and INR 999 respectively.

Further, customers gets an option of selecting a tariff plan under both, prepaid and postpaid category based on his usage needs for Tata Photon Plus and Tata Photon whiz. Under Tata Photon Plus, postpaid customers can avail unlimited usage plans for as low as INR 950 to INR 1500 per month and also get a discount of INR 150 for first twelve months, under cash back offer.
Under Tata Photon Whiz, prepaid customers can enjoy new ‘Surfathon Offer’ on a purchase of every Tata Photon device.
In addition, the company has launched a loyalty program called, Tata Photon League that allows Tata Photon Plus customers to enjoy offline discounts on white goods, household goods, personal accessories and other lifestyle products via vouchers from retailers like Pantaloons, Raymond, Pizza Hut, etc. Users can also enjoy online game options where they can access games, software downloads and avail VAS services.

Telecom players are launching lucrative offers to grab maximum market share. State-owned BSNL and MTNL had already launched 3G data card in many cities and now Tata Photon is doing aggressive marketing and selling to gain more customer base. Companies like Reliance netconnect and MBlaze also came up with new 3G plans but it seems the two couldn’t make much headway in the market.
