Tata DoCoMo has expanded its reverse ring back tone service, MySong, that allows subscribers to download music of their choice that they can listen to when they make voice calls. As per the new plan, the Tata DoCoMo MySong service will be available at a weekly subscription cost of Rs.10 with lifetime validity. The new plan allows subscribers to change their songs for free and hold upto a maximum of 50 songs in their library.

Moreover, subscribers can also set MySong as the caller tune, which will allow those who make a call to their phones, to hear it.  For this service, the subscriber would be charged Rs. 30 per month. Subscribers can also opt for a monthly subscription  by paying a monthly fee of Rs 15 for 30 days, but they will need to pay Rs. 10 per song with a validity of 90 days.

Rishi Mohan Malhotra, Head-VAS Tata DOCOMO said, “With changing moods and attitudes, with new music releases almost every day and every week be it Hollywood or Bollywood, our subscribers will now have the flexibility of adding new songs to their MySong library every week and not get locked into a month long commitment.”

He also said that the expects the affordability factor, where the price of subscription and song download is just Rs. 10 per week, to add to the uptake of the weekly plan.

As of now, other operators too allow services like MySong, but they charge subscribers for both downloading a particular song and changing the song.

Tata DoCoMo users can dial 543217 from their Tata DoCoMo mobile phone to avail of this service.
