Vodafone’s low-cost Android phone to launch in May 2010
Amidst much fanfare, the mobile phone operator Vodafone had announced some time back that the operator will offer Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 with plans to range it exclusively till 31 December 2009. But now, if the recent reports are to be believed, Vodafone has dumped Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 because of the expected delays.

HTC Tattoo, a touchscreen phone from Taiwanese handset maker HTC has been launched in India. The HTC Tattoo is an Android phone, running Android 1.6. The company announced that the phone will be available in India at a price of Rs 18,400 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. In other parts of India, HTC Tattoo price will be Rs 16,990.
Vodafone Essar has announced the launch of their new Blackberry service plan Prosumer Lite@299 which will allow the blackberry users on the Vodafone network to access up to 10 supported personal / business e-mail accounts as well as various instant messaging (IM) services, at a monthly tariff of Rs 299.
