It’s official guys! Even as smartphone enthusiasts gear up for CES 2011, the annual gadget trade show, U.S. wireless carrier Sprint has announced Jan. 9 as the release date of its newest Android phone from HTC.
Verizon Wireless may pay Apple not to launch its new iPhone on wireless networks other than its own and AT&T’s. This means that Apple will have to give up T-Mobile and Sprint.
Samsung has introduced two new phones for mobile carriers, AT&T and Sprint. The two new phones launched are Samsung Evergreen a667 that will be headed to AT&T and Samsung M360 to Sprint.
HTC Supersonic, the first 4G WiMAX HTC phone may be on way. Gadget blogs including Engadget reported that HTC Supersonic, a souped up version of HTC HD2 is nearing launch. The HTC Supersonic will be available only in the US, on Sprint.
