Sanyo has released what it calls the world’s first QuaDrive projector with Real 2K resolution for cinema. The projector, called PLC-HF1000L, offers resolutions of 2048 x 1080 pixels. It will be available in stores in November, and will be priced around $35,000.

Sanyo Electric has announced the Full HD waterproof camcorder in the Xacti series called the DMX-CA100.
