Sony has revealed the name of its PlayStation 3 motion controller that it will launch in 2010.

The Japanese electronics company Sony has announced a delay to its much anticipated motion sensitive games controller for its Playstation 3 games console. The motion sensitive games controller for Playstation 3 will be delayed by 3 months, the company has said.

Sony's new motion controller for PlayStation 3, that was expected to be launched in April-May 2010, will start shipping between September 22 and December 21, 2010.

Sony has decided to delay its launch of much anticipated Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) game in Japan indefinitely. Gran Turismo 5 (GT5) is the latest instalment of a highly successful and complex driving simulation game from Sony. The game is thought to have cost Sony USD 60 million.

Battlefield 1943 for XBox Live andPlaystation 3 (PS3) will be released next week by Electronic Arts. The game recaptures the battles of the second world war. The multiplayer Battlefield 1943 can have up to 24 players.
