Android was the most common smartphone OS in the last quarter of 2010, overtaking former world No. 1 Symbian which runs on Nokia phones, according to a recent study by U.K.-based research firm Canalys.
Nokia has announced its new X Series X2-01 mid range smartphone in India. The phone has a Qwerty keypad and a 2.4 inch 320 x 240 pixel or QVGA resolution display. It is priced at Rs 4,500 and is available in many colours including red, silver and blue. Nokia’s X2-01 is meant for people who do a lot of texting and social networking.
