The temperature inside Chandrayaan-1 has increased after a sudden increase in lunar temperature during its lunar orbit.

ISRO has released two more pictures of the Moon's surface taken by the Terrain Mapping Camera (TMC) of Chandrayaan-1.

Chandrayaan-1's Moon Impact Probe (MIP) sent the first high quality images of the moon's surface on November 14, 2008.

On November 14, 2008, Chandrayaan-1's Moon Impact Probe (MIP) landed on the lunar surface, at 20:31 IST, after detaching from the Chandrayaan-1. Latest: Chandrayaan-1 has found large quantities of water on the surface of the moon.

Chandrayaan-1 was launched successfully, without a hitch, on October 22, 2008. Despite rains and a cloudy sky, the 44.4 meter tall four-stage PSLV-11 was launched from the second launch pad.
