T24 Mobile Friday rolled out its GSM cell phone services in Orissa the fourth telecom circle in India to gain access to the offering after Andhra Pradesh, Kolkata and West Bengal.

Uninor launched its mobiles services in India today. From today, Uninor's mobile network coverage will be available in UP east and West, Karnataka, Kerala, Orissa, Bihar and Jharkhand.

According to a new proposal by the Department of Telecom (DoT), all the 500 million mobile phone subscribers in India will soon have 11 digit mobile phone numbers.
