Huawei will announce its new Huawei Ideos X3 phone at the MWC 2011 next week in Barcelona.

Aircel has announced that it will launch Huawei Ideos Android 2.2 phones in India for Rs. 8,499.

We reported earlier that Huawei is coming up with two Android-based smartphones: Ideos X5 and Ideos X6. The Chinese telecom manufacturer did not give many details about the phones at that time. But now, the company has revealed the technical specifications of Huawei Ideos X5. It is likely to be priced below Rs 10,000.

Intex is planning to launch its first Android phone in India. At about Rs. 5,500, the 2.8-inch resistive touchscreen phone that would run Google Android 2.2 OS, would be the cheapest Android smartphone the Indian market has seen yet.
