All those HTC Legend users who are waiting to receive an update on Android 2.2 Froyo (even as the technosphere goes ga-ga over Gingerbread), your wait is finally over. Starting Dec. 9, all SIM-free, unlocked HTC Legend smartphones in Europe will be receiving the update to Froyo.

HTC plans to launch its HTC Legend as the HTC Hero 2 via Sprint and HTC Desire via AT&T, in the US, according to Boy Genius Report.
