A few days have gone by since Google released the latest edition of Android, version 2.3 or Gingerbread. So far, it seems Samsung Nexus S, which is Google’s flagship phone, is the only device to run Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
The Taiwan-based HTC Corporation will launch a power-packed HTC HD2 with 1GB of ROM and an extra 128MB of RAM on T-Mobile’s network in the United States. There were complaints (admittedly few) that the HTC HD2 came with 512MB of flash ROM which doesn’t help the device run as smoothly as it could.
Specifications of a supposed successor to the HTC HD2, the HTC HD3, has turned up on a Chinese site QQ.com, pocketnow has reported.
HTC Supersonic, the first 4G WiMAX HTC phone may be on way. Gadget blogs including Engadget reported that HTC Supersonic, a souped up version of HTC HD2 is nearing launch. The HTC Supersonic will be available only in the US, on Sprint.
