At the Annual Summer Line Show in New York, LG launched its new series of HDTV LCD and LED TVs, the LG SL80 and SL90. 

Sharp Aquos LE700 LCD TVs with LED backlighting will be available soon. Sharp today announced the launch of its latest high-definition LED TVs in the US. The LE700 Sharp Aquos series TVs are expected to be available in Europe and Asia in a few months' time. Sharp LE 700 LED TVs boast a host of features completely new to the high-performance HD TV market.

Sony Bravia ZX1 HDTV, the thinnest LCD TV from Sony has been launched in India. Barely 9.9 mm thick, this will be the thinnest LCD TV in India so far. Sony has made a bold move by upstaging Samsung’s recent launch of a 1.5 cm LED TV in India.
