Some features, pictures and photos of the Samsung Blue Earth solar cellphone are available. But the Samsung has not come out with a price tag for the solar panel powered Samsung Blue Earth.

Motorola has launched what it claims is the first environment-friendly phone, the Renew W223. While we do not know exactly how effective such new ideas are, they should be encouraged. Hopefully, it would encourage a few other manufacturers to produce eco-friendly phones such as this. We already see that the rising environmental consciousness has led to more eco-friendly cars. Phones might be next.
