Freescale has announced a new line of single, dual and quad core processor chipsets for mobile devices.

Microsoft is working on a new version of its core Windows operating system, designed specifically for tablets. And since most tablets run on ARM processors, that means the new version is essentially to run on them.

ARM, the chip designer, has unveiled a new Android Solutions Center where designers and developers can build their ARM-based devices that run on the Android operating system. ARM is a company, which designs and develops the processors for handheld devices and other electronic appliances.
