Tag Heuer Meridiist phone
Louis Vuitton, that owns the Tag Heur brand, has entered an exclusive international licensing agreement with ModeLabs for the design, development, and marketing the Tag Heuer Meridiist phone.
Though many details of the phone, such as its price in India, are not available, it has been reported that the Tag Heuer Meridiist will have a metal and leather casing with two displays. The Tag Heuer Meridiist will have corrosion-resistant watch-making 316L steel.
The main display of the Tag Heuer Meridiist cell phone will be a 1.9″ QVGA screen, with an unscratchable 60.5 carat sapphire crystal covering that aims to provide durability. The other display will be an OLED screen that will also have the sapphire covering. The front of the Tag Heuer Meriidist displays an independent time unit.
Other features of the Tag Heuer Meridiist include a 2 megapixel camera, with a sliding lens covering, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Tag Heuer Meridiist phone comes with 28 days power reserve and seven hours of talktime.

Tag Heuer Meridiist luxury phone
The company plans to sell the Tag Heuer Meridiist phones through its exclusive boutiques and premium watch and jewelry stories, to maintain exclusivity.
The company has not revealed any further details about the features of the Tag Heuer Meriidist, launch date, or pricing.
In the UK, Tag Heuer phones cost more than £ 4000, so one can expect a pretty hefty price tag even in India.
So far, the Tag Heuer Meridiist phones have been launched in select global markets only. The company has said that the phone has received a tremendous response. Louis Vuitton will launch the Tag Heuer Meridiist phone in India as part of its global roll-out.
Apart from the Tag Heuer Meridiist phone, Louis Vuitton plans to launch leather accessories in India. The company recently launched eyewear products in India.
The Indian luxury brands market has been expanding over the last few years. The popularity of Tag Heuer watches among the upwardly mobile is likely rub off on the Meridiist phone as well, especially among the younger demographic. No doubt Louis Vuitton is targeting this segment in India.
