There are rumors that the Sony Xperia X3 Android phone has been renamed as the Sony Xperia X10.
Phandroid had revealed this information about Sony Ericsson’s first Android phone, that is expected to be officially announced in early November 2009, based on information provided by tweaker.net.
The first pictures of the Sony Xperia X10 also surfaced on October 19, 2009.
PhoneArena carried the picture of the phone but, unfortunately, it is not big enough or clear enough to identify its features.

Based on information gleaned so far, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will have a 4-inch touch screen display and an 8-megapixel camera with auto focus. The phone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250, 1-GHz CPU, and have a resolution of 854×480, said to be the highest for a smartphone so far.
Some early information available about the phone suggest that it works on GSM Quad-band phone at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
Multimedia features of the Sony Xperia X10 include support for MPEG4 video format and MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, WAV
audio formats.
The phone will come with FM radio, miniUSB, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5-mm jack, and WiFi will specifications of 802.11b/802.11g.
Meanwhile, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is expected hit the market, exclusively via Vodafone, in November 2009.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 touch screen phone runs Windows Mobile 6.5. The phone has a dual keyboard, a physical keyboard which slides out and a 3.2 inch-touch screen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
The phone also has a 8.1-megapixel camera with 16X digital zoom.
There is no information available about the price of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2.
One hopes that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 and the X10 will be launched in India. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 was launched in India at a price of Rs 44,500, which is more that the price of the Android phones available in India.
