Sony Ericsson W705 launched in India

Sony Ericsson has launched its multimedia and music phone, the Sony Ericsson W705, in India.

Priced Rs 17,786, the Sony Ericsson W705, comes with clear stereo, clear bass, and premium headsets.

The Sony Ericsson W705 phone is available in two colors, Luxury Silver and Passionate Red.

The Sony Ericsson W705 has Walkman features that include a music recognition application TrackID, SensMe, and advanced Shake control that helps change tracks and adjust the volume.

A 3.2 MP camera,  Wi-Fi, and HSDPA along with pre loaded applications such as YouTube, Google Maps and BBC iPlayer are some other features of the Sony Ericsson W705 . 4GB of memory and the DNLA feature of the phone allows a connectivity to a TV to view the photos and the videos.

Other features of the Sony Ericsson W705 phone, includes the WalkMate application that gives a count of the number of steps you’ve walked, and games like Bowling (Motion), NitroStreet Racing (Motion), Guitar Rock Tour, Sudoku, and Bubble Town.

The Sony Ericsson W705’s PlayNow arena provides unique themes and wallpapers, ringtones, free content and DRM-free music tracks and TrackID charts.

The Sony Ericsson W705  phone sports a 2.4-inch screen with a slide-out number pad. The number pad has a tactile matte finish with a gold rim around the pad.
