Sony Ericsson Susan J10, Sunny J20 rugged phones soon

Rumor has it that Sony Ericsson is set to launch two new rugged phones, the Sony Ericsson Susan J10 and the Sony Ericsson Sunny J20.Preliminary information about the two phones had first emerged in October 2009, followed by some photos and videos that popped up later.

The Sony Ericsson J10, codenamed Susan, has a candybar form factor, 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash, and is both shockproof and waterproof.

Other features include GPS receiver with A-GPS and a microSD card slot, gadgetfolder has reported.

Stand-out features of the Sony Ericsson Susan J10 include a home button and a user interface that is different from that of standard Sony Ericsson phones.

Codenamed Sunny, the Sony Ericsson J20 is a slider phone that has a QVGA screen and GPS receiver with A-GPS.

Like the Sony Ericsson Susan J10, the Sony Ericsson Sunny J20 has a 5.0 megapixel camera with LED flash and a microSD card slot.

semcblog has said that both the Sony Ericsson Susan J10 and the Sony Ericsson Sunny J20 are part of the GreenHeart series, which means that their bodies have 50 percent recycled plastics.

There is no information available about when the two phones will be launched and at what price.
