SatNav SatGuide GPS Logger launched

SatNav has launched its SatGuide GPS Logger, a passive vehicle tracking system, that promises to benefit the transportation business greatly.

The device sports a price tag of Rs 6990.

An effective cost-saving device, which needs only a one time investment and no recurring charges, the SatGuide GPS Logger enables tracking and logging of movement of assets.

The SatGuide GPS Logger can record the route taken, time taken by the vehicle to reach its destination, its average speed, and the number and duration of stops.

The company has said that the device can help track the misuse of any asset out of one’s sight like stealing of fuel at a petrol bunk, and long detours instead of the shortest route possible.

It also shows if any unnecessary stops are being made for any unwanted pick ups.

Most importantly, with the SatGuide GPS Logger, over speeding of vehicles can be monitored and any corrective measure required for the same can be taken.

The SatGuide GPS Logger device comes with a battery bank, power adapter, USB cable, cigarette lighter car adapter, and a utility disc.

SatNav says that the SatGuide Logger could generate a significant 10 percent to 30 percent reduction in a business’ operation costs and increase the productivity of its employees.

The device is said to record the movement of vehicles up to 13 hours.

The SatNav SatGuide GPS Logger comes with Bluetooth with a communication range of 10m and SPP communication profile.

The device has a data logging capacity of 131,071 way points and supports NMEA, KML and CSV data formats.

The maximum altitude the SatGuide GPS Logger can record is less than 18,000 m and the maximum velocity is less than 1852 km/hr.
