Sanyo, a large LCD and DLP projector manufacturer, will launch a top of the line projector PLC-XF1000.

The twin lamp projector will cost around $25,000. Obviously, this is not your average home theatre enthusiast’s evening movie equipment. Brightness of the Sanyo PLC-XF1000 is an astounding 12000 Lumens, and contrast ratio is 4000:1. Sanyo says that the PLC-XF1000 projector can automatically control the demand of yellow light in the projected image for better colour accuracy, higher luminosity and clarity.
The extremely high brightness of the projector would come in handy in large open environments such as conference halls and auditoriums, where levels of ambient light are usually high.
In normal 3LCD projectors, as brightness increases, has become increasingly washed out- but this is not a problem faced by a twin lamp projector like the Sanyo PLC-XF1000.
Each of the two high output lamps in the projector offers 300 Watts.
The company says that the projector is extremely easy to set up in any location, and that there are 10 optional lenses available ranging from short focus to long focus for different purposes.
