Samsung YP-P3 MP3 player in India

Samsung has launched another portable touchscreen multimedia player, the Samsung YP-P3 in India.

The player will be available in two variants, one with 8 GB and the other with 16GB storage  capacity, priced at Rs 11,900 and Rs 14,000, respectively. The Samsung YP-P3 has already been launched in Taiwan.

The Samsung YP-P3 player packs a 3-inch WQVGA-resolution 16:9 TFT-LCD touch screen and a 2.1+EDR Bluetooth along with spectacular features like 16:9 widescreen video player, audio player, ultra-portable photo album, FM radio. One can also use it as a voice recorder.

The Samsung YP-P3 has a Music Hot Touch Key, just below the touch screen to make it easy to use for customers. Hence one does not have to scroll through a long playlist to get to a particular song. Its 3-inch touch screen WQVGA TFT-LCD gets its power from Samsung’s EmoTure touch interface.

The Samsung YP-P3 player gives the user a fatabulous sound quality, as the player also uses Samsung’s latest DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology.

The DNSe technology helps improve the sound quality as it matches the sound to the tone originally intended by the audio producer.

A touch of your finger can get the player to do, what you want it to do. You can switch audio tracks and can fast forward by just holding  down a digital button by just swiping your finger across the screen.

The Samsung YP-P3 also allows users to view wide screen video and photos at a 16:9 aspect ratio without the need for letterboxing.

“Whether it’s the P3’s sharp and bright 3-inch touch screen for video and photos or the advanced user interface, consumers will be guaranteed a more personal entertainment experience,” said R Zutshi, deputy managing director, Samsung India said.

In terms of looks, The Samsung YP-P3 is no slacker. It is elegantly sleek, 0.39 inches thin and is available in a graceful matte black and matte silver finishes.

And, best of all it does not weigh more than 96 grams.
