Samsung's music player with diamonds and platinum will cost less $ 1,000

Samsung has unveiled a new digital music player designed to appeal to the connoisseur, composed of platinum and diamonds.
The MP3 music player will cater for the rapidly expanding personal music market, with the precious metal finish adding a touch of sparkle to the music player. The player is circular in shape, and can be used as a pendant. It has 12 diamonds and a platinum finish.
Debuted at the CeBIT show in Hanover, the player is being posited as a serious piece of music equipment rather than a publicity stunt.
The player has 1GB of memory an FM tuner and 3D sound.
Of course no one is going to buy a player like this for just sound or storage. The design is good enough to wear it to an evening aprty.
Nokia last year launched a premium mobile phone which also used a platinum finish - Vertu. Stars are dying to pick up the phone, and perhaps they would want to piack up this music player
too!
