Samsung has launched the successor of the Samsung Instinct, the Samsung Instinct HD phone, via Sprint.

The phone has a 3.2-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 320×480 pixels. It measures 118 x 58 x 13 mm and weighs 114 g.
The Samsung Instinct HD comes with a high-definition 5-megapixel camera, camcorder, and TV-out HD connection.
Users will not be able to view HD photo and video playback on the phone. They will be able to do so only through an HD capable auxiliary device.
The phone comes with an Opera Mobile 9.7 browser, Ambient Light Sensor and Accelerometer.
Another feature of the Samsung Instinct HD phone is a Proximity Sensor with haptic feedback.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, advanced stereo Bluetooth® 2.0, and GPS-enabled directions and interactive maps.
Other features include Live Search for Sprint, powered by Microsoft, visual Voicemail, and access to social networking sites, including Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter.
The phone comes with a Lithium – Ion, 1440 mAh battery that gives 5.8 hours (348 mins) of talk time.
The Samsung Instinct HD phone is available at Best Buy Mobile, Sprint’s exclusive national retail partner, and other Sprint retail channels for $249.99 with a two-year contract after a $100 mail-in rebate (including taxes).
