Samsung has launched its Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica Android phone in India. The phone was launched in Europe and CIS in November 2009.
The phone will be available in two colors, Black and White, at a price of Rs. 14,750 with one year limited warranty.

The Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700 Android phone offers access to social networking sites and Google mobile services like Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Google Talk, Android Market.
The phone features Samsung’s (DNSe) 2.0 technology, 3.5-mm jack, and support for MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX video formats and MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA audio formats.
The company claims that it is the first Android smart phone to support DivX and Xvid format movies.
Connectivity features comprise WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, MicroUSB, and USB 2.0.
The phone comes with a 1500-mAh battery that offers stand-by time up to 650 hours and talk time up to 11 hours 30 mins.
