Samsung Corby S3650 CDMA version may be launched in India soon

Samsung may launch the CDMA version of the Samsung Corby S3650 entry-level touchscreen phone, in India.

unwiredview has reported that though the Samsung Corby S3650 phone has been officially announced as a quad band GSM phone, it may also be launched in a CDMA verson, in India, where carriers like Reliance and Tata operate on CDMA networks.

The Samsung Corby S3650 phone, or theĀ Samsung Corby S3653 touch screen phone, was launched in India, in end-September 2009, at a price of Rs 9,600.

The phone, that measures 103 x 57 x 13 mm and weighs 92 gms, comes with a 2.8-inch QVGA touch screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels.

The phone allows users to access popular social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, YouTube and so on.

Other features of the Samsung Corby S3650 phone include MP3 player, FM radio with RDS, HTML browser, Bluetooth 2.1, 2-megapixel camera with smile detection, and microSD slot.
