Samsung Corby Pop, a touchscreen phone Samsung under the Corby series is on way. It is expected that Samsung will launch the Corby Pop in India first. The Pop will be a trimmed-down version of the Samsung Corby, which is an affordable touchscreen phone from Samsung the stable.
Samsung has been heavily advertising its Corby series phones on Indian television, and awareness is at an all-time high among Indian mobile phone buyers. The expected introduction of the Samsung Corby Pop should further cement it – expect Samsung to come out with ads featuring the Corby Pop too.

The Samsung Corby Pro is expected to debut at a price of $120, with a QVGA touchscreen, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and 22 MB built-in memory. In India, the Corby Pop may come at a price of around Rs 7,000.
The Samsung Corby Pop will come with apps for social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The Samsung Corby is also known as the Samsung S3650 (Related: Corby CDMA soon?). It’s already marketed as an affordable phone from the Korean mobile manufacturer. The Corby Pop will be a cheaper alternative to the Samsung Corby.
Samsung is also believed to be readying a WiFI version of the Corby, to capitalise on the interest in the Corby series.
While the Samsung Corby TXT B3210 has a physical keypad, the Samsung Corby Mate B331 has a left-sliding QWERTY keypad. The Samsung Corby S3653 has a regular QVGA TFT touchscreen.
