Samsung Corby Pop C3510 phone launched in India

Samsung has launched its Samsung Corby Pop C3510, a cheaper version of the Corby C3650, in India. Announced in Russia last week as the Samsung Genoa, the Samsung Corby Pop C3510 phone will be available at a price of around Rs 7,000.

It features easy-to-access widgets and a simplified home screen and main menu. The widgets help you navigate to your favourite applications faster.

The Samsung Corby Pop C3510 has a 2.8-inch capacitive TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 240×320 pixels. It features a 1.3 megapixel camera with a digital 4X zoom and memory expandable to 8 GB.

The phone weighs around 92.2g and measures 103.9 x 55.4 x 12.9mm. It comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera and video recording capability.

Like the other Corby phones, the Samsung Corby Pop C3510 also offers has social networking integration with live updates. Users can easily access popular social

networking sites, such as Facebook, Myspace, Photobucket, Flickr, Picasa and Friendster.

The phone comes with a widget bar called Quick Link that enables users to directly access menu items of their choice, without navigating through the whole menu.

The Samsung Corby Pop C3520 comes pre-installed with Palringo IM and allows users to stay connected on Google Talk, ICQ and AIM.

The phone powered by Samsung’s own proprietary operating system.

ultimedia features of the Samsung Corby Pop include stereo FM radio with RDS, audio and video player, 3.5-mm jack, and digital natural sound engine (DNSe), and stereo FM radio with RDS.

It can provide 25 hours of music playback and up to 10 hours of talk time with a standard battery of 960mA capacity.

The Samsung Corby Pop C3510 also features GPRS and EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth, and USB, apart from regular features like scheduler, calendar, scheduler, to do list, clock, world time, alarm, currency converter, calculator, memo book, stop watch and a count down timer.

The Samsung Corby C3510 comes with a mobile tracker as well.

The phone comes with a standard Li-Ion 960 mAh battery with stand-by time up to 720 hours, talk-time up to 10 hours, and music play up to 25 hours.
