Samsung Corby Mate to be launched in India

Samsung has announced the launch of its full QWERTY phone, dubbed the Corby Mate, in the Indian market.

The Samsung Corby Mate is known as the Samsung B3310 in Europe.

The phone has a four-line slide-out QWERTY keyboard on the left of the display screen.

The Samsung Corby Mate has a 2-inch TFT display screen with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a 2-mega pixel camera with multi-shot modes, photo effects, and video player, and FM radio.

The Corby Mate is a GSM quadband phone that runs Samsung’s proprietary operating system. It will be available in four colors, Black, Pink, Blue and Green.

The phone is more suited to messaging and social networking. The Samsung Corby Mate provides quick messaging access, threaded inbox, and home screen shortcuts for direct access to social networking sites.

Connectivity specifications of the phone include WAP, Bluetooth, SyncML(DS), SyncML(DM), PC Sync Application, and HTML Browser.

The phone comes with 40MB internal memory expandable to 8GB with MicroSD card.

The Samsung Corby Mate comes with a standard 800mAh battery with talk time up to 9 Hrs and standby time up to 324 hrs.

The company has not revealed when the Samsung Corby Mate will be launched in India and at what price.

Recently, Samsung had launched the Samsung Corby in India, at a price of Rs 9600. Considering the Samsung Corby has more features than the Samsung Corby Mate – it comes with Samsung’s new Touchwiz UI and haptic feedback system – expect the Samsung Corby Mate to be considerably cheaper.

i brought samsung corby mate around 16 dayz itz an ossom phone bt it lacks the function of accelarometer & touch screen but i must say dat the bst value for money itz price is 6200….GO & BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!

i m using this phone.while taking song via blootooth it cannot play on mobile player.the battery backup is very bad. one full charge only 12 hour stay.3310 is far better than corby mate.i have replace the battery but there is change.theme cannot be downloaded.what can i do with this phone.give me suggesion on my email id.
