Samsung Advance SGH-A885 set for Canada launch

Samsung is launching yet another phone, the Samsung Advance SGH-A885, via Telus, in Canada.Another social phone, the Samsung Advance SGH-A885 has a 3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels, and a virtual QWERTY keyboard.

There is a 2-megapixel camera with autofocus, digital zoom, and video recording functions.

It comes preloaded with widgets like Yahoo Finance, Accuweather, and SharePix, and social networking applications like Facebook and MySpace.

The Samsung Advance SGH-A885 comes with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface. Other specifications include an MP3 player, Bluetooth, AGPS, 3G connectivity, 16GB memory via microSD card, and full HTML browser.

There is a 1000 mAh battery that offers Talk time of five hours and Standby time of 350 hours.

It is not clear when the phone will be launched and at what price. Hopefully, the Samsung Advance SGH-A885 will come to India as well.
