New Delhi: Reliance Communications Limited has introduced 2 night-call packages for both its GSM and CDMA customers, by offering free local calls between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m.
One of the packages, called the Lite-Nite Pack and priced at Rs 29, allows free calls to any local Reliance Mobile between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m..
The other one, named the Bright-Nite Pack, costing Rs 59, offers free local and STD calls to other Reliance users, and 50% discount on all other local/national calls.
In a statement, Reliance Communications said that both the Lite-Nite Pack and Bright-Nite Pack will be valid for a period of 30 days and are available to Reliance subscribers of the pay-per-second plan as well as the pay-per-minute plan.
Mahesh Prasad, president of Reliance Communications, said in the statement that both Lite-Nite Pack and Bright-Nite Pack have been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of students as well as young professionals, who work late hours. The customers of Reliance Communications, Prasad added, can now “talk all night” anywhere in India for free, just by buying the pack and without having to bother about the call rates.
