Onida launches entry-level dual SIM phone G505

Onida, which touts itself for manufacturing “fully-loaded” mobiles, has launched dual SIM mobile phone – Onida G505 – that may be priced at an entry level of about Rs. 1,500 to Rs. 3,500.

Onida G505 Technical Specifications

Onida G505 comes with 8GB expandable memory, has a Micro SD/T-flash memory card slot and the capacity to store 1000 phonebook entries and 400 SMS. Onida G505 is energized by 1200mAh Li-ion battery that offers a talk time of up to 5 hours.

The dual SIM Onida G505 features an in-built 0.3 megapixel VGA camera that offers a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and digital zoom. The new Onida phone comes pre-installed with WAP mobile browser which displays optimized Web content that could fit the screen.

For music lovers, Onida G505 has Wireless FM, MP3, and Video Player (MP4). Other features include, Audio Recorder, Video Recorder, FM Recorder, speaker, headset, polyphonic and MP3 ring tones.

Onida G505 cell phone connects through GSM 900/1800 Mhz | GSM 900/1800 Mhz networks. Other modes of connectivity include Bluetooth with A2DP Profile, GPRS and USB for external use. In addition, the Onida phone is packed with calculator, alarm clock, stop watch, reminder, to-do list, world time, mobile tracker, torch, Indian calendar and funny accents.

Dual SIM phones are all the rage in India now. An estimated 15 percent of all mobile phone sales in India are believed to be of dual SIM mobile phones.
