29 August, 2007

Nokia has added features such as Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W, Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-903, Bluetooth Headset BH-902, Bluetooth Speakers MD-7W, and Power Pack DC-1 in its Nseries multimedia computers.

Reports say that the Nokia Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W combines Nseries style with navigation, and is compatible with a wide range of Nokia devices and Nokia Maps. Weighing just 31 gm, the GPS module has up to 10 hours of operating time, and a LED indicator to alert users to GPS activation, power and battery status, and Bluetooth connectivity status.

The enhancements will be introduced in the fourth quarter of 2007 across the world and will carry a price tag of around 125 euros (approximately Rs 7000.)

The other enhancement, the Bluetooth Headset BH-903, supports compatible devices with Bluetooth A2DP, AVRCP, PBAP, HFP, and HSP profiles. It acts as a state-of-the-art remote control with the OLED display. Further, when the user gets a call while he is listening to music, the headset automatically switches to talk mode and returns to music after the call. The headset is expected to cost around 200 euros (approximately Rs 11,000.)

The Bluetooth Headset BH-902 has an OLED display and indicates when a user receives a MMS or SMS message. The BH-902 comes with an in-box neckstrap, clip, and flexible in-ear ear plugs and will be priced at 15 euros (approximately Rs 6,440.) Meanwhile, the Bluetooth Speakers MD-7W promise 3D stereo widening sound and dynamic bass control. They come with magnetic attachments for easy portability, and an LED indicator for on/off, pairing mode, and battery status, and will cost about 130 euros (approximately Rs 7300.)
