Nokia N91 to lure music fans

Nokia N91 smartphone can hold 3000 songs, all in a tiny package.

21 Aug, 2005: Nokia, the world's largest mobile phone manufacturer, has announced the launch of their latest model Nokia N91. The model comes fully loaded with all the necessary features for music fans. It can store upto 3000 songs in addition to smartphone functionality in an ultra-portable package. 

“The Nokia N91 delivers both a fantastic music experience and cutting-edge phone features,” said Jonas Geust, Vice President, Music at Nokia. “What sets the Nokia N91 apart is the fact that it is always connected – you can download new music while on the move, add it to your favorite playlist and then share your playlist with friends. It’s truly the world’s best mobile connected jukebox.”

The phone comes equipped with an integrated 4 giga-byte hard disk and an industry standard 3.5mm stereo headset jack. Using the Nokia N91, the user can transfer music files from PC. The phone is encased in stainless steel, which slide down to reveal the phone keypad. The new model comes from the new Nokia N series, which brings the latest multimedia features and smartphone functionalities.

The Nokia N91 serves upto 12.5 hours of music via the included stereo headset with remote control. The phone supports a wide range of music formats including MP3,M4A, AAC and WMA.

The N91 is packed with multiple connectivity options such as WCDMA, WLAN and Bluetooth wireless technology which makes it easy for the user to find and enjoy music when and where they want. 

The user can transfer his/her personal music library from any PC to the phone. The user can also make and manage their own playlist directly on the phone.

The Nokia N91 provides a revolutionary feature by sharing one's playlist with friends via multimedia message, e-mail or Bluetooth. 

In addition to the high-quality music features, the phone has a 2 mega-pixel camera for print-quality photos support, a full web browser and video sharing.

Nokia plans to release the N91 worldwide by the end of 2005.
