A promo video and specs list of Nokia’s luxury phone, the Nokia 8800 Erdos, has appeared on the internet.

The Nokia 8800 Erdos is a high-end, stylish slide-out smartphone with a 2.4-inch QVGA OLED display screen and a QWERTY keyboard.
Cell Passion has reported that the phone has been carved out of one piece of stainless steel, which the company will market as bullet silver.
The display screen is said to be covered with glass that seems transparent when the phone is in use and silver when the phone is turned off.
The keypad of the Nokia 8800 slide-out phone rises up to the level of the display screen when the cover of the phone is pulled down, reports say.
The dimensions of the phone are 116.9 x 50,3 x 15.0 mm.
The Nokia 8800 Erdos comes with a a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto focus, LED flash, and video recording capabilities.
The phone has 8GB of available internal memory but does not have a MicroSD memory card slot, according to unconfirmed reports.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, aGPS, Bluetooth v. 2.0 (A2DP & AVRCP), WCDMA bands: I + VIII, GSM 900/1800/1900, a noise-reducing microphone and HSPA connectivity.
Some reports say that the Nokia 8800 Erdos will run the Symbian S60 third edition.
The Nokia 8800 Erdos is expected to hit the market in October 2009.
There is no word on the price of the phone, or the exact release date, but there is no doubt that the Nokia 8800 Erdos will come at pocket-scorching price.
