Nokia 7205 Intrigue launched

Nokia unvieled its new Nokia 7205 Intrigue, on Verizon Wireless.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue will be  available at all Verizon Wireless Communications stores at a price of $129.99, after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

With an elegant black exterior and a gradient color keypad, the Nokia 7205 Intrigue is available in silver-fade or pink-fade finishes. The black display illuminates when an incoming call or a message is received.

The phone has an 1.9″, white, PMOLED 176×32 external display.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue allows user to listen to a song from VCAST music with Rhapsody(R), to turn off the alarm, and view incoming messages from the external display itself.

A person can choose from over five million songs available on air, and download the song of their choice to their PCs, free of digital rights management software using the V CAST Music with Rhapsody.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue also boasts of a microSD (TM) optional removable memory with up to 8 GB for additional storage.

The music player is compatible with playable formats like MP3, WMA, unprotected AAC, and unprotected AAC+ formats.

Other features of the Nokia 7205 Intrigue include a one-touch dedicated 2MP camera, Bluetooth, 1X/EV–DO, Rev and a 2.2″ 262K TFT QVGA 240x320px display. The bluetooth supports various profiles like Headsets, HFP, DUN, Stereo, PBAP, BPP, OPP (vCard & vCal), FTP and BIP.

The Habitat mode is an interesting feature that allows users to view contacts in chronological order, once it has been activated.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue phone has a built-in reminder to alert customers to unplug the charger when the battery is full. The charger too is a low no-load charger that helps save energy also adding an environment friendly aspect to it.

Customers can collect the $50 mail-in rebate in the form of a debit card, that they can use wherever it is accepted.

The V CAST Music with Rhapsody service is available for $14.99 monthly access and Visual Voice Mail is available for $2.99 monthly access, per line.

Airtime charges, megabyte charges and messaging fees are to be paid by the customer according to the subscribed plan.

The Nokia 7205 Intrigue is not only available at Verizon but can also be  purchased online at www.verizonwireless.com.
