Nokia 5235 Comes with Music mobile phone launched

Nokia has announced the Nokia 5235 Comes With Music low-cost phone on December 11, 2009. India launch is very likely for this phone.

The Nokia 5235 Comes with Music is the music variant of the yet-to-be-launched Nokia 5230. This is a good-looking touchscreen mobile phone, as you can see from the photo to the left.

The phone has a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels. It will be available in two colors, White with ice-blue tinted chrome rim and Black with ice-blue tinted chrome rim.

The Nokia 5235 Comes with Music phone measures 111 x 51.7 x 14.5/15.5 mm and weighs 115 g. There is a 2-megapixel camera with CMOS sensor and up to 3 x digital zoom.

The phone has dedicated keys to access camera, volume, power, send, end, and menu functions. There is also a Media Bar touch key that allows users to access web browser, music, gallery, share online, and video centre.

The Nokia 5235 Comes with Music phone phone works on Quad band EGSM 850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA 850/1900, 850/2100 and 900/2100 networks. It allows automatic switching between GSM bands.

The phone runs on S60 5th edition Symbian operating system version 9.4.

The Nokia 5235 Comes with Music phone allows users to access unlimited free songs from Nokia Music Store, listen to 33 hours of continuous music with one charge, store 3400 tracks, and manage music and transfer from PC with the Nokia Ovi Player.

Other features include 3.5-mm audio jack, MicroSD slot, 320 MB internal memory, built-in GPS, A-GPS receivers, Nokia Maps 3.0, Bluetooth v 2.0, and high-speed USB 2.0.

The BL-5J 1320 mAh Li-ion battery offers Talk Time of 420 mins (GSM) and 258 mins (WCDMA) and Standby time of (438 hours (GSM) and 458 hours (WCDMA).

The phone will be available at a price of 145 Euros in early 2010. That is not too expensive, and chances are high that the 5235 will make it to India too at a price less than Rs. 10,000
