Nokia 3208c to be launched in China

Another budget phone from Nokia heads for China. The Nokia 3208c is a touchscreen phone that comes with a stylus.

The entry-level phone, that is not very exciting looks wise, has a candybar shape and a chrome-plate case.

Feature wise too, the Nokia 3208c does not have much to write home about.

The phone measures 108.5 x 48.6 x 13.2 mm, weighs 90 gm, and has a 2.4-inch TFT QVGA touchscreen display with 260k colors.

The phone offers Tri-band GSM/EDGE connectivity (900/1800/1900 MHz), Bluetooth connectivity, handwriting recognition, and speaker-independent voice dialing and commands.

The Nokia 3208c comes with a 3.5-mm headset jack, integrated MP3 player, and Stereo FM radio. The phone can play music up to 11 hours.

Other specs include a 2MP camera, 13 MB internal memory, microSD (TransFlash) with support up to 4GB cards, 1GB memory card and standard 1,020 mAh battery.

Standby time of the Nokia 3208c is up to 350 hours and talk time is up to 7 hours.

The Nokia 3208c has a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, messaging capabilities, MP3/AAC/eAAC player, Voice memo, and an Organizer. The phone does not have GPS or 3G.

The phone will be available in two colors, graphite black and white pearl.

The Nokia 3208c will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2009. There is no information available about the price of the phone. It is not clear if the phone will come to India, but if it does it should be quite affordable.
