If you are traveling by Meru Cabs in New Delhi or Mumbai, you will be able access high-speed Internet inside the cab.
MTS, the mobile telephony brand of Sistema Shyam Teleservices (SSTL), has announced the launch of high-speed Internet access on Meru Cabs.
To avail this service, the customers just need to ask the cab driver for a MBlaze dongle to enjoy free Internet surfing along with an unlimited data download. MTS MBlaze is a USB modem for accessing internet from a laptop or a desktop, and offers 3.1 mbps download speed and 1.8 mbps upload speed.
MTS plans to launch similar services in other major Indian cities including Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
Speaking at the launch of MBlaze powered Meru Cabs, Leonid Musatov, SSTL’s chief marketing officer, said, “At MTS, our endeavor is to constantly excite and delight data users. Our partnership with Meru Cabs has been specially designed to offer seamless data connectivity to users on the go, both in Delhi and in Mumbai.”
Meru Cabs has gained great popularity in metro cities. Mainly business people hire Meru Cabs to travel to and from airports and railway stations, and within the city. The launch of this Internet facility inside the cab will be a boon to business people as they can utilize their time for checking e-mails and do other online work.
