Motorola Stingray an Android 3.0 Gingerbread tablet?

It is rumoured that Motorola’s first Android tablet could be called Motorola Stingray MOTMZ600.

We do not know if that is the final name for the tablet, or whether that is just a codename.

The news was initially leaked by droid-life, which said that the information came from a  cached Spanish VZW page, where the Motorola Stingray appeared in a ‘List of Advanced Devices.’

The Motorola Stingray is expected to feature a 10-inch display, use an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and will have Verizon FIOS. It might also include front and rear facing cameras, mobile TV and mobile hotspot capabilities.

This is too early to say which version of Android the tablet would run. Some rumors say that the Stingray would be an Android 3.0 Gingerbread tablet, while according to some other sources, it might run Android 2.2. Related: Android 3.0 Gingerbread tablets

There is no information on the potential launch date or price of the Stingray either, though some rumors say that it would be launched in November 2010. If the launch actually happens then, we should start seeing a trickle of leaked photos pretty soon!
