Motorola has officially announced the launch of the Motorola Ruby, later known as the Motorola V13.

The phone will be launched in South Korea as the MOTO Klassic via SK Telecom network, unwired view has reported.
The Motorola Klassic, a standard clamshell phone, will have an external 2-inch QVGA 240×320 LCD touch screen display and an 2.2-inch internal QVGA display.

The phone will come with CDMA EV-DO connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel camera with auto-focus and panorama shooting, microSD expansion slot and a 950mAh battery.
Some reports suggest that the Motorola Klassic may run on the Symbian UIQ 3.3 operating system, but the information is as yet unconfirmed.

Motorola’s MOTO Klassic website says that the phone has a stainless steel body that measures 95 x 50 x 14.5 mm and weighs 105 gms.
A few months ago, there were rumors that the Motorola Ruby had been canceled, but, in October 2009, news trickled in that the Motorola Ruby had been resurrected as the Motorola V13.
Of late, Motorola has announced a few launches, the most notable being that of the Motorola Droid Android phone. The phone, that is expected to pose a serious challenge to the Apple iPhone, has received favorable reviews.

In Early September 2009, Motorola had announced the Motorola DEXT or CLIQ Android phone that comes with the MOTOBLUR user interface.
The Motorola DEXT or CLIQ phone has a slide-out landscape keyboard and a 3.1-inch HVGA touch screen display screen.
The phone runs on a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz processor, and has a RAM of 228MB and ROM of 512MB.
There are rumors that Motorola will launch the Motorola Calgary Android phone via Verizon soon. The phone is expected to be a low-end version of the Motorola Droid and is likely to be launched in December 2009.
