Motorola MT710 OPhone for China

In many ways it is similar to the recently launched and much-loved Motorola Droid aka Milestone. But the MT710 gets rid of the keyboard – and many would like it this way, we guess. And the touchscreen is a resistive one, though we have come across some saying that it is a capacitive screen.

Remember that the Motorola MT710 is an OPhone phone – which means, it is a China specific platform – still running Android alright. But it is not going to come to the US or UK. Some version of it might make it to India if they manage to get the pricing right, though.

Just like the Droid, the MT710 too features a 3.7″ touchscreen running at 480×854 resolution and a 5 megapixel camera. ALso, the MT710 is 3G-capable. The Marvell chip, though, is not as powerful as the one in the Droid.

Price has not been announced by Motorola or China Telecom.
