Motorola unveils world's thinnest QWERTY phone - Moto Q

Moto Q combines quality voice, data, and multimedia in one amazing
RAZR-thin package.
Q leverages Microsoft’s familiar and trusted Windows Mobile software and is one of the first devices to run on the new Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. Using Q, corporations can bring mobile email to their entire organizations.
Main features of the Q include electro-luminescent keys, QWERTY keyboard, thumbwheel for single-handed control, and internal antenna. The phone is much more lightweight than other major competitors in the market. Q also provides additional features such as a large, vibrant color screen, Web surfing capabilities, a 1.3 mega pixel camera with photo lighting, video and MP3 audio capabilities. The Q comes equipped with Bluetooth®-enabled accessories like the new RAZRWIRE Bluetooth eyewear.
The Q phone promises the best quality sound voice one can get in a QWERTY. The phone has a high-quality speakerphone, voice-activated dialing and Bluetooth functionality.
Since the Q is one of the first devices to run on Windows Mobile platform, the Q is optimized for Microsoft Exchange 2003. The Q mobile phone is the thinnest QWERTY device in the world with video capture and playback.
The mobile phone can be connected to to other external devices using Bluetooth, IrDA and mini-USB and is compatible with Motorola's line of Bluetooth-enabled wireless headsets.
The QWERTY supports audio formats such as iMelody, MIDI, MP3, AAC, WAV, WMA, WAX, QCELP and image formats such as GIF87a, GIF89a, JPEG, WBMP, BMP, PNG.
The phone comes with a Mini-SD removable memory card slot and supports video formats such as H.263, MPEG-4, GSM-AMR, AAC, WMV.
The Moto Q is expected to be available in Q1 of 2006.
