The company announced that the keyboard will go on sale by February 21 with a best buy price of $60 and a suggested street price of around $80. The custom-sized wireless keyboard comes with a stowable USB micro transceiver that can be stored under the keyboard.

Weighing less that half a kilogram, the Microsoft Arc keyboard is compact and light weight which makes it very portable, be it in office or any room in your house. Simple and subtle, the Arc keyboard has neat lines and is rooted on the contemporary electronics and designs of household appurtenances. Its special design helps for constant holding and working, said Michael Kral, a marketing specialist with Microsoft.

The Microsoft Arc keyboard is ergonomically designed to work on desk as well as on one’s lap or chair. It comes with a 2.4GHz USB tiny wireless transceiverand it doesn’t interfere with its portability because of its size. The magnetic receiver is easily attached to the bottom making it easy to carry. It comes with three years warranty.

Compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP-based PCs and Mac OS X 10.4-10.6 running Mac systems, the MS Arc keyboard targets the multimedia enthusiasts.
