Maxus, Dialect, BIG 92.7 FM promotes Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

Maxus, Dialect, and BIG 92.7 FM have teamed up to launch a new multi-platform promotion for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.BIG 92.7 FM along with Maxus, Dialect, and BIG 92.7 FM designed an on-ground activation spread across Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai over four weekends.

The events involved interactivity and opportunities for product sampling, while communicating the propositions of Touch, Play and Share with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone.

Seven-feet tall replicas of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic phone were created with a touch screen similar to the original model and offering a similar interface that consumers could engage with and explore actual features of the phone.

These were set up at high footfall malls across the six cities, said Big 92.7 FM sources.

At the event, listeners could experience the Nokia 580 Express Music for the first time ever.

Drive time shows were also hosted live from a radio studio set up installed at the venue in the six cities. Listeners were asked to select a song from a list, which would play on the radio station along with a dedication for the entire city to listen to.

BIG 92.7 FM’s on-air amplification was clubbed with a whole lot of exciting RJ content to build further awareness for the brand.

BIG FM has said that it has always provided innovative solutions to its customers and this campaign was just the perfect example of how radio and activation can be creatively customized to give effective integrated solutions.

The programme saw close to 15000 people being part of the event.

BIG 92.7 FM officials said it succeeded in leveraging its strengths in the radio and activation business to offer Nokia a platform of engagement with its consumers that helped create high levels of awareness and excitement around the product.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic has a 3.2″ touch screen display, with a 3.2 megapixel camera, flash photo editor, video recording, playback, integrated GPS, Nokia Maps 2.0 Touch Application, email, and messaging.

Music and playback features of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic include Nokia Nseries digital music player, stereo FM, Nokia Music Manager, playback .mp3, SpMidi, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA file format support, Nokia Podcasting support, integrated stereo speakers with surround sound.

The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic comes in three colors, Red, Blue and Black.
